Juan Jaimez
U.S. Buildings Senior Program Associate
Juan is a Senior Program Associate at Climate Imperative, working on U.S. building decarbonization. He previously worked at Community Vision, a community development financial institution focused on empowering disadvantaged communities via capital and resources. There, Juan led projects on community outreach and engagement, data analysis and visualization, and program ideation and implementation. He also worked on a nationwide voter registration drive focusing on states with a history of disenfranchisement for the 2018 election. Juan led the program’s efforts in Arizona and Colorado, collaborating with community-based organizations and activists.
Juan holds a B.A. in Politics with a concentration in U.S. politics from the University of California-Santa Cruz. He lives in Oakland, California where he is an active member in his community garden and volunteers at a tool-lending library.
