Kathleen Yip
Industrial Initiative Program Officer
Kathleen is a Program Officer in the Industrial Initiative at Climate Imperative. She develops grantmaking strategies and associated grant portfolios around heavy industry. Kathleen believes in solutions that reduce emissions from the industrial sector and improves the quality of life for those bearing the brunt of our climate crisis.
Before joining Climate Imperative, Kathleen spent over ten years advancing equity and clean energy and transportation policies through work in state government, advocacy, consulting, academia, and philanthropy. She has an M.S. in Transportation Technology and Policy from UC Davis’ Institute of Transportation Studies, and a B.A. in Science and Technology Studies from UC Davis.
