Katy Rohrer
Senior U.S. Electricity Initiative Program Associate
Katy previously worked as a Program Assistant for the Australia and Pacific chapter of the Climate Reality Project in Melbourne, Australia. At Climate Reality, she led projects on climate advocacy, community engagement, and grant management. Katy also worked in the Geography Department at the University of Melbourne as a Research Assistant synthesizing data and contributing to academic publications on socio-technical transitions to clean energy.
Katy earned a B.S. in Anthropology and Geography with a concentration in Environmental Studies and Sustainability from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and an M.S. in Geography of Environmental Risk and Human Security from a joint program at University of Bonn and United Nations University in Bonn, Germany. She now lives in Oakland, CA and enjoys cycling, cooking, and hiking!
