Lindsay Battenberg
U.S. Electricity Initiative Program Officer
Lindsay Battenberg is the U.S. Electricity Initiative Program Officer at Climate Imperative, where she develops grantmaking strategies and associated grant portfolios to accelerate the phase out of fossil fuels and adoption of zero-emission policies. Lindsay brings over a decade of experience in policy analysis and legislative and regulatory strategy.
Prior to joining Climate Imperative, Lindsay led Proterra’s federal and state policy efforts to advance transportation electrification in the medium- and heavy-duty sectors. Additionally, Lindsay spent over 10 years working in the electricity sector on renewable energy policy, including roles at Pacific Gas & Electric, Alameda Municipal Power, Navigant Consulting, and the California Public Utilities Commission.
Lindsay has a B.S. and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and resides in San Francisco, California.
